How do I cancel my subscription?
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
- Tap GloryCam, then tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How does the free trial work?
The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel, it renews as a paid annual plan when the trial ends. If notifications are on, GloryCam reminds you 2 days before the trial ends.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so Apple decides refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple ID, find GloryCam and choose "Request a refund".
I paid, but GloryCam asks me to pay again.
Open GloryCam, go to Settings and tap restore purchase. Use the same Apple ID that you used to pay. If that does not work, write to us and include the date of the purchase.
Glories
When do I get a glory?
Your first glory, the crown, comes at the end of setup. Then you earn one at each milestone:
- Breastplate on growth day 10
- Boots on growth day 31
- Cape on growth day 52
- Full Glory on growth day 80, after a full week of practice
You can also make one monthly picture in the last days of each month.
What is a growth day?
A growth day is a day on which you practise. Missed days pause your progress. They never take progress away. So your milestones are earned, not dates on a calendar.
My photo was not accepted.
Before a photo is sent, GloryCam checks it on your phone. It checks that the photo matches the guide and that it shows the same person as your earlier glories. To get a good photo:
- Stand in good, even light.
- Fill the outline on the screen.
- Remove sunglasses and hats.
My glory did not finish.
A glory takes a few minutes to make. Connect to the internet and open GloryCam again. The app continues a glory that was already in progress. If it still does not finish, write to us.
App blocking
How does app blocking work?
You choose the apps that distract you. GloryCam shields them each day. When you finish a prayer or a study, those apps open for 12 hours. Then the shield comes back.
GloryCam uses Apple's Screen Time system. We never see which apps you chose.
How do I stop app blocking?
In GloryCam, change your blocked apps in Settings. To remove access completely, open the iPhone Settings app, tap Screen Time, then remove GloryCam from the apps with Screen Time access.
Partner & iCloud
My partner and I cannot connect.
Two-by-Two uses Apple iCloud. Both of you must be signed in to iCloud, and iCloud must be on for GloryCam. Check this in the iPhone Settings app: tap your name, then iCloud.
Privacy & your data
Where is my data kept?
Most of your data stays on your iPhone. Photos for a glory are sent to make the image and video. Read the full details in our privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the GloryCam app. This removes the data on your iPhone. To also remove iCloud data, open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, and turn off GloryCam before you delete the app. For privacy questions, write to privacy@glorycam.com.
